| HMS Bergbau AG owns 51% of HMS Bergbau AG Oil & Gas Division. KNK Carbo Store GmbH & Co. KG owns a 49% shareholding in HMS Oil & Gas. KNK is a company that is owned by Stadtwerke Bad Vilbel and "Wirtschaftliche Vereinigung". The purpose of HMS Oil & Gas is to economically store underground CO2 (CCS - Carbon Capture and Storage) that is captured from energetic use of fossils such as coal. Geological structures in the north of Germany are currently being explored by the company. |

Die HMS Indonesia operates a commodities bulk port in Kalimantan and develops projects to produce steam coal from own resources. Furthermore, HMS Indonesia pursues steam coal trade operations in the Asian-Pacific market. |
